About the Founders
Engageable Designs is a social good, social impact organization cultivating excitement and skills around math. Our mission is to create engaging learning experiences for students of all ages, especially in high-need low-income schools. We develop early numerical literacy and love of learning in children of colour through fun, culturally relevant math enrichment programs.
Engageable Designs was founded on the principle that immersive practical problem solving is the answer to educational disconnect across all spectrums. As a result, students construct understanding by what they do, and not by what teachers say or do.
Since 2009 we have partnered with high-need, low-income schools to empower PreK-12th teachers to provide comprehensive, low-cost STEAM programs in their classrooms.
Engageable Designs implements in-school and out-of-school activities to foster curiosity, and self-esteem to develop the building blocks necessary for our youth to walk through life with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Student Programs
Saturday Math Academy (SMA)
SMA is held on Saturdays to create a space for intergenerational, vibrant, and fast-paced collaborative study of math to foster and deepen students’ enjoyment and appreciation of mathematics. SMA’s rigorous curriculum engages students to foster problem-solving skills alongside developing an in-depth conceptual understanding of mathematics.
Mathematician in Residence (MIR)
The mathematician in Residence teaches kids mathematical concepts during the school day without the textbook by highly engaging each student.
Early Algebra Program (EAP)
EAP teaches before or after school the requisite algebra skills needed for middle school success, whether to 4th and 5th graders to accelerate their growth, or middle and upper grades as intervention.
Summer Math Camp (SMC)
During the Summer, students from 4th to 6th at SMC receive support in math, science and coding, while having fun, and reducing their fears in STEM subjects to help combat summer learning loss.
Frequency Intensity Training (FIT4Math)
During school, FIT4Math helps students create a connection between physical strength and mathematical strength with an emphasis on rapidly strengthing arithmetic and computation alongside high-intensity interval training.
Fear No Number – Math Club
Before or after school at Fear No Number, students get immersed in number sense and numeration because every child is a number theorist that can overcome their fear of arithmetic by learning alternative and non-traditional computation.
Stocks and Investing Club
Before and After School students at Stocks and Investing Club learn about the Dow Jones Industrial Average through managing a mock $10,000 commodities and equities portfolio.
Debate Club
Before and After School students at the Debate club learn to prepare several types of arguments to be able to debate a resolution in front of experienced judges and trial attorneys.
